Formulas for calculating and adjusting hull girder loads are provided in CSR (Common Structure Rules for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers). However, moments caused by longitudinal forces are not considered in the formulas. Revised formulas and influence of the moments are researched in this paper. Results show the ignored items in calculating and adjusting formulas of CSR remedy each other, which make final values correct in most load cases even though intermediate values have clearly deviation. And the revised formulas proposed in this paper are correct in any load case, no matter intermediate values or final values.
