In order to research the precise measurement of the wind speed and direction instrument with ships motion, a digital simulation system for dynamic compensation and error compensation of wind speed and direction is designed. According to the measurement principle of wind speed and direction with ship plane motions, the solution model of relative wind and true wind with ship plane motions is established. Meanwhile, dynamic measurement and error compensation for wind speed and direction with ship rolling and pitching state is simulated according to the error compensation algorithm of wind speed and direction measurement with ship spatial motions. Digital simulation results show that effects on measurement of wind speed and direction with ships motion is eliminated, the accurate and reliable data information of wind speed and direction is provided for manipulation control and navigation safety for ships.
