With the development of large-scale ships, the combined action load of wind, wave and current in the harbour is getting larger and larger. Therefore, accurately predicting the Mooring Load of the vessels moored in harbour can help designers to choose proper mooring equipment, get a reasonable layout of mooring equipment, and effectively improve the mooring efficiency. In this paper, a 16000 TEU container ship is taken as the research object, and its mooring conditions under typical wharf environment and specific loads are calculated and analyzed by using BV Classification Society's Ariane mooring software. The motion state and cable force of the ship are calculated by three-dimensional time-domain method. The influences of the cable material, loading condition, cable arrangement position and cable angle on the calculation results are compared and analyzed. The design suggestions for the mooring arrangement of the ship wharf are put forward.
