With the improvement and popularization of CCTV system, more and more ships are equipped with closed-circuit monitoring system (CCTV). This paper gives a basic introduction to the system configuration of CCTV system, and briefly describes the main functions of CCTV system installed on ships. The future CCTV system is expected to focus on small target recognition and visual field supplementation, and proposes a bold outlook based on the design of the overall structure of the ship recognized by the CCTV system.
