Data fusion is one of the problems that shipbuilding enterprises must solve to improve the ability of development and production and to realize Total Quality Management (TQM) in the era of Intelligent Manufacturing. Modeling and implementing of Data Fusion Layer will increase the cost-effectiveness during product development and production. The issue of implementing data fusion in shipbuilding industry is discussed in the paper, and some practical cases are shown to introduce a framework based on integration of informatization and industrialization and how the framework is implemented in a shipbuilding project.
