The mission bay is an increasingly desirable feature for a range of naval, coastguard, offshore, research and expedition passenger vessels. However, conventional solutions to transfer boats to/from the davit rely on overhead handling, raising the ship’s centre of gravity and bringing the risk of swinging loads. Mission Ease from Vest davit is a multi-boat handling solution that turns conventional thinking on its head by locating the transfer operation in a patented multi-boat cradle system in the deck of the mission bay, seamlessly feeding boats between the storage area and the davits (dual or single-point) on either side of the vessel.
