The wave of Industry4.0, which has become a buzzword in the industry as a new paradigm of manufacturing, has a great influence on the shipbuilding industry. In Korea, along with the rise of Industry4.0, researches on smart ship and smart yard are being actively carried out. The core technology for building a smart yard is the IoT for ¡®connection¡¯ of yard resources and Big Data and CPS for ¡®intelligence¡¯ of yard operation. However, most of the recent studies for smart ships and smart yards have focused on IoT for the purpose of connecting parts and aim to acquire accurate data about real-time production status. In addition to acquiring accurate production status information, application of CPS technology for efficient yard operation decision from the viewpoint of intelligence is also an important factor.
