Experimental researches were carried out in the research laboratory of the Institute Laser and Welding Technologies (ILWT) using portal system for HLAW which fabricated by ILWT. experimental research of the welding butt, angle and T-joints created by HLAW of the RS E36, F500W, X80, X100 and X120 steels. Welding wire Sv-08G2S and Power bridge 60M were used. Hardness test, charpy test and ultimate tensile test of the welding joints were carried out. All welding joints had qualitative formation. All samples were broke at the base metal. Welding joints created using welding wire Power bridge 60M had impact toughness up to 280J/cm. Results of the hardness tests are described, too.

KEY WORDS: hybrid laser-arc welding; high-strength; cold resistance; nanostructured steels; hardness test; charpy test; ultimate tensile test
